The need
We’re proud to be the official shippers for Photo London, a major event in the international art world calendar. The event is a prestigious photography exhibition hosted at Somerset House and features works from over 90 galleries from around the world.
The solution
Our dedicated team did a fantastic job of managing the entire event logistics process. This involved structuring and planning the logistics to bring the galleries and their exhibits to the fair on time. We helped the exhibitors with everything from collections and customs regulations through to installation, packing, local deliveries of sold items, the return of unsold pieces to the galleries and international shipments. This took meticulous planning and involved organising the movement of multiple vehicles, crews and equipment into the venue.
The result
The exhibition stands were completed in plenty of time, and the result was a stunning visual exhibition, with strong visitor numbers and robust sales. After the event we shipped major acquisitions by international institutions as well as important sales to private collectors from all over the world.
